>I get this "DataReader.GetFieldType(68) returned null." message when I try to execute a specific SQL command on a new test environment we are building up. This is because the specific table in that SQL command is using the Geography field. What I do not understand is that this is SQL Server 2012 with all the same files on disk as before. The only difference is the production environment is SQL Server 2008. Anyone knows what specific has to be done in SQL Server 2012 so my geography field will work? Or, any additional setup that has to be done?

Does this help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6569624/datareader-getfieldtype-returned-null
