Better Europeanization than the moronic HillBillyization of the Right. The Right would take us into 3rd World status circa South Africa of the '70s where all white people are armed and everyone is left to fend for yourself... giving rise to war lords, etc. A real nightmare many of the loons on the Right would actually love.

There's a reason why many of the happiest and most prosperous countries in the world are in Europe.
