So my question is does anyone have any ideas on how to get live streams for USA cable channels? So far the only thing I've some up with is to try to talk someone into setting up a PC and TV tuner to install www.orb.com on it for me...hahaha

Canvass your neighbours to fund re-installing the satellite dish? One-time fee to do so probably cheaper than $XX/month for cable etc. if you can get a few other people on board.
