>>>The building I live in has got rid of our free satellite dish because they removed it to install solar panels. Kinda sucks because I don't have cable either & I'm too cheap to spend the $ on it. I do have a digital TV tuner with an antenna, so I can still get a few local channels. My gripe is that now I have no CNN, Comedy Central, MSNBC, ESPN, etc etc etc. I know there are a zillion "internet TV" apps - all of which are of course junk. So my question is does anyone have any ideas on how to get live streams for USA cable channels? So far the only thing I've some up with is to try to talk someone into setting up a PC and TV tuner to install www.orb.com on it for me...hahaha

>>Canvass your neighbours to fund re-installing the satellite dish? One-time fee to do so probably cheaper than $XX/month for cable etc. if you can get a few other people on board.

>Couple problems with that though. There really isn't a place to mount the dish anymore and now the satellite companies service plans have all changed so even if there was a place to put the dish it won't work out $ wise anymore.

What are you currently using for Internet access? How does a cable Internet + TV bundle compare to that?
