Tour tale:

I was on tour with a band in the mid '80's. On the last night at the Albert Hall one of the guitarsts (who was quite shy and humble) stepped up stage front for his only solo and the roadies lowered a Spinal Tap sized Stonehenge from the lighting rig behind him. The whole audience were on their feet, clapping and cheering. Poor guy couldn't work out why he was getting such an ecstatic reception (until he turned round) :-}
