Actually, I am, as long as it's done right e.g. the 1st and 2nd generation VW L1: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_1-litre_car

The 3rd-generation XL1 has porked up to more than double the curb weight of its predecessors and is now not much lighter than conventional minicars. Maybe the "X" is for "excess".

It's curious that for individual human transport you have:

- Bicycles at 10kg order of magnitude
- Motorcycles at 100kg
- Autos at 1000kg
