This made a splash back in July but there hasn't been much update since.

My admittedly limited understanding is that this involves whether or not the schools are required to carry liability insurance.

Update : I should also mention that insurance requirements are already on the radar of the gun issue since 6 states and DC are trying to mandate that gun owners obtain liability insurance. It's an oldie but a goodie. Can't legally get what you want because of that pesky Constitution, tax and fee it out of existence.
