I have Outlook set up the same way, but it doesn't go online even
with the DownloadMail flag set to .t. It won't go online until I start
up Outlook at physically go online.
The same is true for inbox stuff.
>As far as reading only the "new" messages look at the MAPIMessages.FetchUnreadOnly property. You have to call the Fetch() method then iterate through the MsgIndex to get each message.
Got it when I actually looked at the typelibrary <s>...
Still this is not a good solution as it appears some MAPI client needs to be installed for this to work right.Plus the issue with whether it goes online or not is iffy. Even if it did go online sending and receiving by defaulkt is probably not something you'd want to do out of an application. You need finer control than that.
Drat... I was going to use that as a simple solution for getting email in my book, but oh well...
