>Is the user name a local user on the server or a domain account ?
The user name that is used from the ASP.NET application to execute the task, the one that is executed from ASP.NET from the Process class, has to be local. Because, this is a Windows Scheduler task sitting on the server. This does not reside on share drives located on another computer or whatever the devices to hold those drives are. But, then, at the Windows Scheduler task itself, the account associated to the task seems to be a local account as well. Because, if I assign a domain controller account at that level, it will fail which seems to indicate that during its execution, the account associated to the task seems to be local for some kind of integrity and execution checks. So, I put the localadmin account on that one as well. For now, I am in wait mode so they give to the share drive the localadmin account of that specific Web server the rights of the share drives. After that, I will be able to tell if that was in fact the issue.
