That's pretty much how I've been doing things since FPD days -- essentially set up different "workspace" for each software project (not PJX/PJT, but rather particular program that I was working on) -- with each having its own CONFIG.FP (referenced using command-line parameter in the shortcut) to set up separate operating environment. Basically I generally ignored the main VFP icon in the Start menu and simply used whatever icon I'd created on the desktop (or in a Explorer toolbar). This minimized interference between possibly conflicting libraries being used on different projects. Normally I kept this info in a separate Projects folder -- this also meant migrating between computers was relatively easy, since it was a matter of copying the Projects folder and the startup icons.
