If Exchange is your default mail client, it's pretty trivial; you could easily use the Win32 API call ShellExecute() to launch mailto:, which invokes your system's default mailer. If you have additional information, such as the intended recipient, it can be provided to mailto at the same time; for example, mailto:edrauh@aearthlink.net would start the mailer and fill in the intended recipient as me.

Look back about a week in the discussions here, Eric Moore had a simple example of how to do this then.
