I've flown airlines much worse than Delta. Based on my person observations:

- I used to have flight issues every time I flew through MSP on Northwest. After Delta purchased them, I've had none.
- I never had a dirtier or beat-up plane as AmericaWest. It wasn't cleaned between flights, the seat was broken, and the seat pocket in front was torn.
