Yes, all software should be free. It frees people to use, in an unrestricted form, all of the gifts they possess to help other people. All copyrights and software patents, except copyleft implementations of copyright law, restrict and harm innovation and freedom.

All such controls are evil. Front to back. Top to bottom. Side to side.
