>I sure wasn't. M$ had a very bad reputation already, and I had a history of finding nasty bugs in their products (some of which cost me my first "stay in the office until 02:00 to fix their crap").

Unfortunately, we programmers only have ourselves to blame for a lot of M$ attitude. If we hadn't been so quick to program around the glitches and had actually insisted (or our customers insist) that they be fixed properly.....who knows?

My opinion of Fox for Windows has always been that it was an abortion that shouldn't have been resuscitated. ALL the glitches and gotchas of Windows - NONE of the conveniences - yet we merrily patted each other on the back every time someone programmed around a 'known issue'.
