http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/business/130828/canadian-australian-cities-top-worlds-most-liveable-listFrom their web site:
The Economist Intelligence Unit’s liveability rating quantifies the challenges that might be presented to an individual's lifestyle in 140 cities worldwide. Each city is assigned a score for over 30 qualitative and quantitative factors across five broad categories:
•Stability
•Healthcare
•Culture and environment
•Education
•Infrastructure
Hmm I wonder who picked these categories and I wonder who assigned the scores?
The writers at The Economist?
They gave themselves the modest name of Economist Intelligence Unit.
