The chemical weapons issue was irrelevant then and it's irrelevant now.
We had no business intervening as a country.
Both cases involved civil wars.
People do nasty things to each other while fighting civil wars, as our history shows us.
Before WWII, many civilians volunteered to fight against Fascists in the Spanish Civil war.
Anytime any civilians feel that strongly about Assad, let them go over and fight him.
I don't see any long lines forming.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
