I don't see "I was mistaken" in there anywhere. It wouldn't kill you.

He might be waiting for Al Gore to qualify what he meant about inventing the internet. And for that matter, I'm still waiting for vindication on Typed DataSets. And if memory services me, Junior Soprano was waiting for something regarding Angie Dickinson. We all wait for something. :)
