Thanks for the response. I figured there really wasn't a good answer. As to the system crashing and the records being left in the log file, the administrator
of the system has extra options on their version of the application menu, one item being an app to clear selected records (or all) from the log file. The other
neat feature of this "control" program is it allows me to grant, or deny, asscess rights to each app for each operator if I choose to do so.
