He just doesn't have an NFL arm. That was clear in his 4 seasons in the NFL. Wobbly passes, off target passes, passes that weren't strong enough to beat pro DBs. And we wasn't going to run the ball the way he did in college against freaks of nature who weigh 250-300 pounds and run the 40 in 4.5. Three teams have now decided he wasn't good enough, and it wasn't because of the Tebowing. I don't have a thing against Tim Tebow personally. I admire the way he gives it his all at all times. But the NFL is a very select group. Take a look at what I posted back to Doug. He DID make passes that caught defensive backs off guard. And take a look at some of his runs in the playoffs against Pittsburgh and in some of his comeback victories in the 2011 season. The evidence is there. He needed to be in a system where he could flourish.
Take a look at Cutler's progression. He's been a starter for years. He was given the opportunity (and to his credit, he has improved). I'm pretty safe in saying that had Peyton Manning wanted to play for Cutler's teams during Cutler's development, those teams likely would have taken Manning and would have kicked Cutler to the curb.
