Obama's arguments for intervention have never made sense on any level, but especially not because of a threat to the US.
It looks as if Putin has pulled O's chestnuts out of the fire, tho.
I'm sure that O will send him a 747 full of Stoly for that one.


We agree on the first part....but as for Putin helping Obama, he's not doing it for the sake of the U.S. This is a chance to create a power play in the Middle East. The more he can sell AK-47s and other items, the happier Putin is.

Believe me, I don't want a war (or...if we HAVE to go to war, if there is no other choice, we should want nothing short of decisively prevailing using all of our might). As far as B.O. as our commander in chief, I don't trust him. His successes in "ending" wars and in capturing bin Laden were in part from leveraging what was done under Bush. But on this situation, he can't "leverage himself".
