Not easy to satisfy an existing loyal user base that likes brand exclusivity achieved by high prices and premium reputation, while also grabbing a share of the growth/low price market. Will be interesting to see how it goes- if the price is too high for emerging markets then for Western customers I can't imagine who would want to save maybe $100 by taking the el cheapo plastic version rather than the prestige model.
