His minimum electoral margin was 5 million votes. Deal with it.

The floor is yours. Who do the Republicans have who can be elected in 2016? If you say Ted Cruz or Mario Rubio you will put a big smile on my face

Mike, you know and I know that it doesn't take a graduate in U.S. history to know that the Democratic party has tied votes to an increasing welfare state. Even LBJ acknowledged it. And even though I've said on here that the increase in the Food Stamp program started under Bush, it's accelerated even further (and the controls have been relaxed) under Obama - we both know one of the reasons for that.

(And to be fair, the Republican party buys the corporate/Wall Street vote, though Obama actually cashed in on that in 2008 because Wall Street didn't care for McCain).

I said last night that I think Rubio is a fool and under-qualified (which, precisely was my view in 2008 of Obama). There are some aspects of Cruz that l like - he certainly has the academic credentials that would tear Obama apart in a debate - but some of his positions (Heartbeat/personhood bills) are ones I cannot support.

I really liked Huntsman - but I seriously doubt he will run.

There are times when I like what I hear from Kelly Ayotte - though she's too far of a long-shot to make it.
