His minimum electoral margin was 5 million votes. Deal with it.

Mike, I'm not trying to start a heated debate, but please take this for what it's worth. It's that kind of reaction, that kind of attitude, that has made Barack Obama a very hated man in Washington.

Even supporters of Obama acknowledge that he has gone through periods where he was so arrogant and self-aggrandizing that it has created the worst relationship with Congress in our lifetimes.

For two years after 2008, he repeatedly reminded people, "I won". There is the famous incident where he wanted to create an executive order to use monies recouped from TARP to fund another stimulus - and had to be told by his own team of consultants that he couldn't do that....the law stated that the monies recouped would be used against the deficit. His response..."Remember, I won". While I admit that sometimes the right will oppose him for the sake of opposition, there is a strong element of truth that much of this started with his complete lack of interest in dealing with the other side (and even members of his own party).

Given how much he shut out the Republican party during the AHCA period, it's no wonder that it didn't receive a single Republican vote.

So I personally place the "deal with it" in the same category as the "Remember, I won" statement. Both don't serve any good purpose at all.
