Have a nice balance right now with a VFP to SQL conversion, a big TSQL insurance policy calc project where I get to use some of the voodoo I learned on Dow Jone's dime and which will now use ef/webservice / angular / jquery something something for user interface, and a very challenging financial services realtime thing using protocols and decoding requiring me to learn things about C++ I really hoped I'd never have to know.

Sounds very challenging indeed!

Boy some tapas in Sevilla sounds real good right now ...

The last time Andy and I were in Seville, there was one little tapas bar that was always jammed - and jammed with locals. We could never get near the place. Then, the last night we were there, we happened to be standing right outside when it opened. We got seats and I told the proprietor, who spoke no English:

Parece un hombre muy amable. Por favor denos algo que cree que nos gustará. Pero mi marido no puede comer pimientos ni cebollas porque le hacen mal.

We had the BEST tapas I have ever eaten.

This time we are going to Alicante.
