You should drive in "Ruta Nacional 3" Patagonia's main route. A non uncommon accident (this even happen to the father of a very good friend, 30 years ago) is to crash into an on-coming truck, for the wind is so strong that you do not know but you are constantly steering your car against it, and when it happen to be that the wind comes from left to right, you are steering towards incoming traffic, and when a big enough truck cuts the wind you might end up crashing its side if you are not paying attention.
