Have I mentioned it's great to have you back? I don't have any more idea why Michel let you back than you do but in terms of adding value to members in technical content it was a smart business decision.

How about those Bengals?! I had season tickets one year when I was working in Cincinnati, up in the nosebleed section. 1986 I think, with Boomer Esiason as QB and Tim McGee as a wideout. The stadium was packed every week. The Bengals have always had great fans even when they weren't good. Good fans, passionate and friendly. Like the city itself, good Germans.

When the Bears, the reigning Super Bowl champions, came to town I passed around songsheets to "Bear Down, Chicago Bears." The reaction was amused, not what you what you would expect in Pittsburgh or New York.

I do not have high expectations of the Bears. My #2 team is the Bengals.

UPDATE: I was in full thrawl at the time with two simultaneous girlfriends . They attended Bengals games about evenly. I believe every man deserves a magic season. At 56 it is nice to remember being competed for. They both had their attributes. Good breasts and a nice butt, respectively. They knew about each other. Leslie commented once that Pam had a good figure walking away. Talk about a backhanded compliment.
