No, now I will need to wait until it is available somewhere, I hate watching something from the middle. I almost lost also the previous 2 episodes (the ones before the last one) of Dexter, for some reason the guide will show a different program other than Dexter, the PVR then ignored the recording, I thought they were taking an hiatus (sometimes for some reason that I do not know or understand series do this) but then when I started to watch the last episode I realized I missed some, fortunately it was still in the "On demand" section... Not happy at all with my switch (I switched TV/Internet provider at the beginning of the year)
