>Good morning, I'm new in the forum, do not know the rules properly. I come here for help, working with visual fox pro 9 desktop, I created a report to print a pre-printed form, which will be printed information in specific fields gives page. The problem is this, and my printer works perfectly and others tested, but some customers is printed out of alignment, have tested the configuration of the report writer PRINTER SAVE ENVIRONMENT, but nothing worked, if anyone can help me, grateful .
Generally with reports you do NOT want to save the printer environment. In your VFP development environment go to Tools...Options, Reports tab and un-check "Save printer environment".
If this is what you're already doing:
- What exactly do you mean by "out of alignment"? Vertical or horizontal or both? How much?
- Does your report use fonts that may not be present on all users' computers?
- Is there anything in common with the ones out of alignment e.g. all are dot-matrix printers or all lasers etc.?
