Sorry, Thomas. But I had no option "Network" Windows 7. I wondered why but I had to make the question anyway.
When server and workstations are XP I seldom have this problem and I suspect they are always hardware errors.
Most of them are Server and workstations W 7.
I suppose I'll have to program a try catch sequence for giving time to server for answering or user for checking server.
