Sure, as in 15 < 16 ;) Actually, Mike is technically correct. When one is dealing something quantifiable, "fewer" should be used.. When one is dealing with something that's not really quantifiable, and/or you're talking about something that's relatively smaller, "less" should be used.
So....
"Because of the bye week rule, there are fewer NFL games in October weeks"
"I should eat less red meat that I currently eat"
It's understandable for people to interchange less/fewer when the context calls for "fewer", but the reverse is likely to sound awkward.
i.e. "because of the bye week, there are less NFL games in October weeks". Many will say that
but
" I should eat fewer red meat than I currently eat"
