>Re Browns, good call. Scoring 37 points and having a record of 3-2? It's good to see a great franchise showing signs of resurgence. Charles must be rolling in clover.
You have to be a Browns fan to know what went through the crowd when Hoyer went down 2 minutes into the game. The result was very un-Brownian and very welcome. Still praying for Hoyer's quick recovery, but this was something the town needed and I feel good for the guys who really worked hard to make it happen. Weeden showed a lot of character (if not first round QB skills) in being able to shake off what he has been subjected to by the fan base in the last three weeks and do his job to the best of his abilities. The coaching staff has proven they actually know what they are doing (we haven't seen that in a loooong time) and as a team they showed some very very good chemistry. Optimistic for the future. (and of course rooting for Pittsburgh, the Ravens and Cincy to lose this weekend <g> )

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
