>>>Picking a nit: The PPACA was signed into law in March of 2010, following a special election where it was THE issue and Scott Brown won.

>People can't call it Obamacare and then refuse to link it to Obama. He was elected again after the bill cleared the House in 2009. You may regard elections to the House as a signal, but voters do not call it Housecare. It's Obamacare. And the people did vote him in again. Obamacare also has survived Supreme Court challenges, including the ones to which certain Republicans were connected. Having failed to succeed via the checks and balances allowed them, now detractors attempt an end run around the legislative process, action that would end US government as a viable proposition if the attempt were allowed to succeed.

>Voters will have no trouble with the above logic so I don't get why Republicans want to be Samson bringing everything down around their own ears. If Obamacare is as bad as they say, stand back and let it fail! Sabotage creates the risk that you will be blamed for the resulting failure, so stand back and be ready to say "told you so." Instead they protesteth too much and make themselves the bad guys for causing the government shut down of 2013.

Correct.
Let it stand or fall.
Frankly, I think it's on thin ice, but I was dead wrong about Bush's prescription drug bill.
I thought that it would be a disaster and it has turned out to be a winner and his best (only?) contribution.
Every now and then, even politicians from Texas get things right.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
