FWIW, our rates are going up 7%, but we have locked in to our current plan by renewing in December because under the ACA, current plans are grandfathered in for a year. The reason we did this is that our current plan ($1000 deductible each with everything covered at 100% after that) will most like not be available once the ACA is fully implemented..
So the idea that "If you like your plan, you can keep it" is nonsense. Marcia, ours is going up about 7% as well. And we lose it after 2014.
