I'm having significant timer problems myself. What sort of timer management are you doing?

Also, I'm trying to poll a port on a real-time basis, but the actual timer resolution is 1/18 of a second (according to the help file). Any suggestions for how to increase the resolution of a timer? (btw, cpptimer.zip in the files area isn't any better ;))
