A couple of things...on the RomneyCare, the mandate was more complicated and more incentive-based....that those who didn't participate would not be eligible for certain tax credits/exemptions. It was more of a "carrot" approach. The point I tried to make to Tamar a few weeks ago is that the media has tried to say that AHCA and Romney's plan were the same - there are subtle but significant differences.

The question on the Supreme court is using a bit of the Socratic method - we have an issue where the Supreme Court has clearly, clearly legislated from the bench. To re-write the context of a law is very alarming...it's one thing to find a loophole that might have some legitimacy - Robert's loophole is, if anything, even more untenable than the mandate itself!!!!!

On the polls, I stick by the number that 56-60% of registered voters oppose the individual mandate.
