One of my best friends is the restaurant critic for the Chicago Tribune. His stepfather was from the old school, meaning cook the daylights out of it. On one of his visits to Chicago he wanted to go to Lawry's Prime Rib, another Chicago institution. Phil personally called the chef to give him a heads up and said I don't want to hear a word about it. Just give him what he wants.
