We look at the translation of His name (Matthew 1:23),
"Emmanuel, which is God with us," and Jesus (Yeshua), which means "God who saves."
He is God.
As God is The Father, The Son, the Holy Spirit, so are we made in His image, being three-fold as of our soul, body, and spirit (if we be born again of the spirit, until we are born again we are dead in eternity, having no life in us, though we appear outwardly to be alive in our flesh bodies (I Timothy 5:6)).
