>>>I suggest that you contact Jim Nelson, maybe you can integrate the editor with his suite of utilities.

>>I actually looked at this a couple of years ago and its a no-go. His tools rely on interfacing with the standard VFP editor and my tools work completely independent of the VFP editor. I had looked at his tools being able to call my editor for the methods, but the main problem is in how to determine (trap) when the user wanted to save or close the normal VFP editor. If I remember correctly he is using a timer to "catch" the state; I would have to have real-time integration to be able to write-back the methods during a save or close. However, many of the features that he has developed I also incorporated into my editors.

Actually, the editors are in a finished state -- only features to add...

For the VCX and SCX editors these are fully capable of editing methods and properties; only the layout (visual) edit portion not available and is in progress (in this case you revert to using the VFP editor to do the layout). The PRG editor is fully finished. The MNU editor is fully finished. The DBF editor is finished but has a glitch in not being able to edit the index expression (the active x grid that I am using is capturing the keyboard output and not releasing it) so this part has to be fixed. The project manager is in a semi-finished state -- there are some features that I have thought of (like moving forms, classes, etc from one directory to another). It is usable and I am fully using it. The only known bug in the project manager is when you drag-n-drop a visual class to a page in a pageframe in a form. The control is not added to the page. You can drag-n-drop to a region on the form and then copy-n-paste to the page which is a work-around at the moment. I have to track down why the object is not being added to the page directly.
