If the preview shows data and the print shows a blank label, then I think the current selected area has changed

This occurs when there is a grid on the form. Preview shows data, closing the preview puts the focus on the grid. Putting the focus on a grid selects its recordsource

So, before printing (or previewing)
- setfocus to a textbox or so on the form
-select the alias of the labels
- then print/preview
