This thread is somewhat of a follow up to my thread about passing dataset from grid view page to a detailed view page. I am re-thinking the approach. The fact that the user will "jump" from Grid View page to Detail page, back and forth (which is very easy to do in Window app) will make constant calls instantiating and re-instantiating dataset very inefficient.

So I am thinking about placing both, the Grid View and Detail View on the same page. My idea is to create two panels - one for Grid View and one for Detail View and hide/un-hide them depending on what the user wants to do.

My question is; is the panel control the "best" for this purpose? Do you see any issues with my thinking? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
