Bill, I am going to tread lightly because you have gone through a horrible experience that I haven't. But please don't beat yourself up too badly. It doesn't sound like there were any overt signs that he was considering something like this. In fact he was doing some positive things. And what parent ever knows completely what is going through the mind of their child?
