Years ago Great Britain passed a law that no job titles could indicate gender. So mailman became postperson, fireman became firefighter, and queen became throneperson. Once parliament realized what they had done, they changed the law so the queen was still the queen, not someone that cleans toilets.

Reminds me of a knock-knock joke my daughter tells me...

Katy: "Dada, knock-knock"
Me: "Who's there?"
Katy: "Queen"
Me: "Queen who?"
Katy: "Queen the dishes, they're dirty"
