I am always amazed when I meet Packer fans that have never even been to Wisconsin.

No, I've actually never been in Oregon, though I'd love to go there.

I started rooting for Oregon in early 2008. I watched them smash Michigan in an early season game and was impressed by their fast-tempo offense. Until then I never really rooted heavily for a college team.

Same thing with the KC Chiefs - I saw them destroy Buffalo on a Monday night game in 1991. The hometown crowd in Kansas City was electric.

So sometimes you just watch a certain team and you get instantly attracted to them.


Someone people really need to get a life.

Pray tell, "which" people? The Packer fans who live in (for instance) Miami, Florida...or fans in general who root for teams thousands of miles away?
