"...Or you have enabled the option..." - wrong, I never touched it, it's the default of a setting I never even knew existed.

Ah, I see. There is a lot of labeling here.
The option I was referring to is "Tools\Options\Designers\Prevent saving changes that require table re-creation". But, you are probably aware of that.
