>Also, to be fair, Fox News is reporting that over 300,000 in Florida are losing their insurance coverage, because their plans don't meet the requirements of the new law.
>
>To listen to their reporting, you'd think these 300,000 had been transformed into paupers.
>
>The truth is that of those 300,000, I'd venture a guess that at least 2/3rds (at least) will be offered new plans by their same insurance. In some cases, the new plan will be better, and in some cases it won't. In some cases the new plan will have better coverage but with higher premiums.

>So the truth is in the actual details.

>Believe me, I look at news from Fox the same way I look at it from other sources. Fox really only has one good analyst - Greta Van Susstren. The rest can be quite irritating.
>
>But....there's a larger context here. The promise (stated REPEATEDLY) by Barack Obama that premiums would not go up for anyone, and "if you like your plan, you can keep it". Either had no clue what he was talking about, or was a bold-faced liar. I don't know which is worse.
Of course political statements like that are lies. Exactly like "read my lips no new taxes" .they are said for effect.
