A colleague of mine wrote code generator in FoxPlus. It was churning Cobol code like planks. Even wrote a screen generator for it.
If it comes to that, I can always go back to doing Cobol, and I can write code generators for breakfast. Write stuff in Fox and write a translator which would turn it into Cobol code. Just replace each c=c+1 with "add 1 to c giving c" and don't forget the period, period.
