Windows 8 uses HyperV for virtualization. HyperV requires a 64 bit processor and a CPU that supports hardware virtualization.
AFAIK, Windows 8 does not support Virtual PC images.
8 GB RAM and i7 easily supports Visual Studio. That's what I'm running and it's just fine.
>This's a bit unrevelant but, I didn't use my Windows 8 key yet. I just afraid some things:
>-I have some virtual PC images, if I don't learned wrong, Windows 8 doesn't support virtual PC, it supports HyperPC. Can I use these virtual PC images with W8?
>-My currently notebook just have 8 GB ram i7 and cannot support anymore. Does 8 GB enough if I use VS2012 with Win8? I don't use VS yet, but maybe will use...
