If I remember correctly, this function was used in FP 2.x to determine wether the value of an on-screen control had been altered.

Speculating even further, I think you used either the OBJNUM of the object, or maybe the name of the ControlSource variable for the control as a parameter to the UPDATED function.

If i've remembered wrongly, I'm sue somebody will correct me.

In VFP you should make use of InteractiveChange or ProgrammaticChange as suggested in the help file.
