The only way I know of (from Googling and looking at other sites) of how to disable the post back of a button is to set value of property OnClientClick='return false;'. And it works; but only if the button is enabled to begin with. If the button is disabled (Enabled='false') then once you enable it in the jQuery, it posts back. I will keep Googling for a solution. Thank you.

>Well, beats me. I have never done an ASP.Net site. Is there a property you can set in the designer that says, "Don't post back on this button"?

>>The first button is Start which (in jQuery) sets value for event.timeStamp to a variable. The second button gets new value of event.timeStamp and calculates the difference. Basically times how much time elapsed. When the first one is enabled the second should be disabled and the other way around. The calculations work but the post back messes things.
