- By default, it uses the Jet database. Everything...forms, data, reports, are all stored in the same file. It can access SQL Server
- Once you get about 10 users on the system or a few thousand records, it will get very slow
- Development language is VBA
- You will quickly hit brick walls as you try to make applications
